3D Images of Our Future Home
Andrew, our architect, has sent us some 3D pictures of our future home today which I’d like to share with you.
- The front of the house from the North East.
- View from the North West, which is pretty much the view we will get driving up the drive way.
- Back of the house from the South East. The octagonal windows are in our ensuite above the spa bath.
- View from the South West towards the veranda and the kitchen.
The next step is to work out the size of the photo voltaic system for our electricity needs. That’s going to be exciting, especially when we get a better idea of how much the solar panels and batteries are going to cost us.

Wow, those pictures are awesome! I’m the type of person who has a hard time visualizing things and so architects being able to create 3D “pictures” of how a house would look is a really great thing. It looks really nice btw, thanks for sharing.

Nice – Can’t wait to see progress photos. Make sure they build thick walls (12″) with multiple layers of insulation. Ensure that the vapour barrier is not broken and you can live without heating and cooling. We are doing this in Canada which much success.
